  I have been a customer of Community Bank of Louisiana and enjoyed its excellent services from Fairfield Office for a long time, recently due to my job change, I found that the South Shreveport Office (at Bert Kouns and 49) is closer, but I had a different experience when I went there to have a document notarized. After a brief waiting, a gentleman in his silver year approached me and led me to his office, before he took a look at my document, he said he could only do a very few basic notaries, though the bank offers free notary service. I told him that I did a document, I needed to swear that I was the one who completed it before a notary, that’s all I need. He said it’s out of his scope, he basically only do title notary, but he would be happy to call someone he knows who can notarize it for me for a very little fee. I have used notary services several times in Fairfield Branch in the past five years, the kind lady over there never used any excuses to dismissed me like this because it is a free service. Though in disbelief, looked at him in his retirement age, I thought I should not question him, and by the way he looks like the one in the picture in the bank’s home page, he may be someone whose service the bank has been proud of, so I thanked him and tried to go to Fairfield Office again. Again the lady at Fairfield treated me with courtesy and respect and completed the notary for me by thanking me for using her free service. Two different offices have two different attitudes towards their customers; or maybe just an age-related problem-the older, the trickier if no honesty is concerned. I guess I still have to use the Fairfield service despite my job relocation or find another nearby bank.
