  Unfortunately H&R Block is very expensive when it coes to filing taxes, however I choose them because I have went there for over 5 years. I have several friends and family members whom chose to go other places because those who are eligblie to receive a refund like anyone else wants the vast majority of it back. So, basically I spent nearly 400.00 to get my taxes filed I needed an additional document to prove I had insurance in 2016 this form is called a 1095A. I went several days needing to get this document which I didn't have of course. When I went to the office on Youree Dr. In Shreveport the lady in there Ms. Armstrong said I need to go and get that form. Ok, I spent couple hours on the phone trying to get into healthcare.gov until I had enough of their in competence, so I finally was able to print the form and take to the office on a very well rush lunch break around noon. When I got into the office the lady fax my paperwork ok great ! So then she tells me that they could have retrieved the information in house because those are the services you pay off when you fork over 400 dollars. I told her well I had I known this couple weeks ago this could have been clear up. My bad for not knowing the full extent of my benefits , however same on this employee who I know had been working there for a very long time and even filed my taxes in the previous years. Thanx Block for wasting my time and money because your employees are to lazy to gather a little bit more info to help a paying customer out, maybe next I will choose a different agency to file my taxes. You guys say your services are helpful but when a person needs help you guys default on yours promise.
